Spanish roots: the family arrived in Brazil in the 1950s
A Spanish family story, a teacher of two languages
My grandparents came from Spain to Brazil in the 1950s. I grew up speaking both languages and connecting with Spain's history, geography and customs. That story is where my wish to make language my profession began.
After more than a decade in multinational companies, Patrícia changed careers: she earned her master's in Granada and taught in the United States and Portugal. Back in São Paulo since 2018, she works as a cultural bridge in both directions, teaching Spanish to Brazilians and Portuguese to newcomers.

Spanish was hard for me and she made everything seem simpler. If I could learn at my age, anyone can. Highly recommended!

Punctual and organised. Relaxed, enjoyable lessons, which was essential for me, since we started after a long day at work.

Your first lesson is free
One hour, no strings attached, to try the method, assess your level and plan your next steps together.
Both. Online by video call, for students anywhere in Brazil or abroad. In person in Butantã and other São Paulo West Zone neighbourhoods, with an extra R$ 10 travel fee.
Do I need to speak any Portuguese to start?
No. Portuguese lessons for foreigners start from zero and can be supported in English or Spanish in the early stages.
I've never studied Portuguese. How long until I can get by?
It depends on your starting point, how often you study and your goal. In the free first lesson we assess your level and agree on a realistic plan.
Do you prepare students for the DELE Spanish exam?
Yes. Patrícia was accredited as a DELE examiner by Instituto Cervantes (C1–C2 in Lisbon and A2–B1 school level in São Paulo), so she knows the exam from the inside: format, marking criteria and what examiners expect.
How does the free first lesson work?
It's a one-hour lesson to get to know each other, assess your level and understand your goal. Just send a WhatsApp message and pick a time.
Do you teach companies?
Yes. Portuguese and Spanish lessons for professionals and teams, at the office or online, focused on meetings, presentations and everyday workplace communication.
How much does it cost?
A single lesson costs R$ 100 per hour. There are 5-hour (R$ 500) and 10-hour (R$ 1,000) packages, and small groups of up to 3 students at R$ 1,100 per person (3 months, 2 lessons a week). The first lesson is free.
